If you or someone who you know is going through a difficult time in life, it can be beneficial to share motivational thoughts or stories. This can make it possible to see the positive parts of life, even when everything may seem depressing. Take a look at the following story, for an example.

Susan was a recent college graduate. She had taken a marketing job right out of school.  She thought the company would be great, because it was a very small company and it seemed to have a laid back atmosphere.  She quickly learned that this was not the case.  Everyday she would go into work depressed, because of the poor working environment that existed.  She was also ever appreciated and her boss always found fault in her work.

After about 5 months of working there, she realized she would not be able to continue working there much longer.  She was not learning anything and she was also not being treated fairly. She decided to begin looking for another employment opportunity.  Unfortunately, she did not have much luck.  There were not many positions available for someone with little experience.

After doing a lot of research, she quickly learned that it was possible to make money from home. She began working at home on her evenings and weekends, learning that it was possible to make money with her writing skills.  Within 6 weeks, she was able to leave her depressing job.  She felt so good to leave the bad atmosphere behind.

She has continued to make money from the comfort of her own home. While she never thought this was possible, she learned that hard word and dedication have allowed her dream to come true.  This is just one example of the many motivational thoughts or stories that can be shared with someone who is in a difficult situation.
