If you or someone who you know is going through a difficult time in life, it can be beneficial to share motivational thoughts or stories. This can make it possible to see the positive parts of life, even when everything may seem depressing. Take a look at the following story, for an example.

Susan was a recent college graduate. She had taken a marketing job right out of school.  She thought the company would be great, because it was a very small company and it seemed to have a laid back atmosphere.  She quickly learned that this was not the case.  Everyday she would go into work depressed, because of the poor working environment that existed.  She was also ever appreciated and her boss always found fault in her work.

After about 5 months of working there, she realized she would not be able to continue working there much longer.  She was not learning anything and she was also not being treated fairly. She decided to begin looking for another employment opportunity.  Unfortunately, she did not have much luck.  There were not many positions available for someone with little experience.

After doing a lot of research, she quickly learned that it was possible to make money from home. She began working at home on her evenings and weekends, learning that it was possible to make money with her writing skills.  Within 6 weeks, she was able to leave her depressing job.  She felt so good to leave the bad atmosphere behind.

She has continued to make money from the comfort of her own home. While she never thought this was possible, she learned that hard word and dedication have allowed her dream to come true.  This is just one example of the many motivational thoughts or stories that can be shared with someone who is in a difficult situation.

Most people who struggle with weight issues find crash diets to be rather ineffective. As long as you are on the diet you may lose weight, but as soon as you return to your usual eating routine, you put on pounds. The hcg weight loss program is well researched and studied. It involves the regular intake of hcg, which is a hormone that is produced in a woman’s body when she is pregnant. In fact, it is first produced by the embryo and then the placenta.
HCG facilitates the burning of body fat in order to make up for the extra calories that are required for the growth of the unborn child. With regular intake of the hormone the hypothalamus instructs the body to burn fat deposits. Thus, you can expect results in days. The arms, stomach and thighs are the areas that are most prone to fat deposits. On a hcg weight loss diet you can expect to lose fat from these places.
Along with the intake of the protein hormone your dietician will recommend a low-fat and calorie diet.  As the body burns extra calories, you can easily bring down your daily calorie intake. This essentially means that you gain doubly. Unlike other diet schedules you will not feel hungry or starved when you reduce your food intake on the hcg diet. To find more HCG Diet information visit, WhereToBuyHCGDrops.net.
When you choose to stop taking the hormone, your body will require to adjust to the change before you can go back to your normal diet. By such a time, you would have burned off a lot of fat and lost weight. While you are on the program you develop healthier eating habits which will ensure that you stay slim and fit.  Thus, unlike any other weight loss program you will not have to worry about gaining weight again.

    September 7th, 2011TylerOrganizing Your Time

There was a time when people tied a piece of thread to their finger to remind them of something they needed to do. Fortunately, things have changed in the modern world and you can use several tools to ensure that you do not forget something important.
A to do list, as the name suggests, is a list of all the things that you need to do in a day or a period of time. The list may include the activities that need to be accomplished in the day or it could be a list of products that need to be bought from the supermarket. Thus, the items on a ‘to do list’ would vary from person to person. However, what is common is the fact that people often misplace their list.
It would be wise to pen down the things that you need to do in the order that you intend to do them. This makes it easier for you to tick off the actions that you have successfully completed. You can create an inventory of activities on a Post-it, you can stick it somewhere it would be hard to miss. This could include the refrigerator, your mirror or even on your purse.
If the list is common to several people, such as that for a family, you may like to write it on a white board. It can be conveniently placed in the kitchen or the family room. One can erase and create a new record of things to do. This can also work in an office where team mates need to coordinate activities.
You do not always need a paper list. You could add it to your schedule on your cellular phone or PDA. There several websites that offer tools that can help you manage your time and schedule. Once you register on such a site and create your list, regular reminders and notifications will be sent to your email account.

    September 9th, 2011TylerOrganizing Your Time

One of the major keys to accomplishing the thing you want in your life is a matter of smart goal setting. There are some simple guidelines to doing it right. It is really about having a strong will and keeping them reasonable, for the most part. As long as you keep your goals in the realm of reality, there is no reason that they can not be successfully completed. The only thing that can hold you back from completing a reasonably set goal is pure will power. As long as you truly desire to get something done, there is nothing that can stop you.

The first rule to smart goal setting is keeping the goals smart. There is absolutely no point in setting goals for yourself that are unreasonable and unlikely to be completed. Keeping goals simple and down-to-earth makes them  much simpler and smarter. For instance; instead of making your goal to lose a certain amount of weight in a certain amount of time it may be more reasonable to break the concept down to several specific goals. One goal can be to eat less junk food and the other to exercise daily. The weight loss is sure to follow naturally.

After setting simple goals, the next step to smart goal setting is holding yourself to those goals. The goals you set have to be thing you really want to see accomplished or it will never get done. Will power is the most crucial aspect to the success to any goals you may have. The more you want something to be successful, the more effort you will put into getting it done and the more likely it will be to get done. You want to be sure that the goals you set are truly goals that you have and not simply wishful thinking.

September 20th, 2011GuestPosterLosing Weight, Motivational Stories

You’ve lost 50% of your goal weight loss and feeling good. It’s been a hard slog. The compliments are waning, ‘Ooh, you’ve lost weight..well done..how’ve you done it?’ You’ve been on a diet so long that people no longer notice and you’re hard slogs are fading into the wallpaper.

Tired of withstanding the fasting and denial of the yearning desire for those delectable treats you decide to peek into the fridge and dare to dream about gorging on what the rest of the family eat. No, if you’re going to do this then you may as well call a take-away and ditch the exercise class at 6pm; it’s cold outside, getting dark. Yeah, go on. Gorge…

    Back to reality please

Don’t listen to the Devil on your shoulder. We all know, (atheist or not) that the devil is bad and should be ignored at all costs. So firstly, shut that fridge door and contemplate the guilt you would feel afterwards. Yes, your tum will be fit to burst but after the initial elation, but disgust seeps in to your mind. See the calories tot up, imagine the fat coursing through your veins, imagine your problem areas getting bigger and the exercise you’ll have to do to work it off.

    Staying motivated

Now, you’re on a roll. Get your kit on and get in to that class. It may be mundane, but occupy your mind. Get angry; exercise is a great natural release for anger and motivates you to work harder without realising it. Think of all those nasty comments you’ve taken in and accepted, jokes you’ve been the brunt of, embarrassing moments when things haven’t fitted and turn that evil quip or that scarring memory in to a positive.

Push those weights, work those legs, plunge your squats that little bit harder and imagine others faces when you look gorgeous and hot. You will arise from the fire like a phoenix from the flames and it’ll be all your own hard work. You’re stronger than anyone you know and you can now feel that strength beat through your body.

    And later in the day

You did it! It’s too late to eat now. Tomorrow go shopping and get some new clothes. Clothes that are tailored well and actually fit your size, that clearly say,’I've lost weight!’. On Monday, even though you’re only half way to your goal they will all suddenly notice that your waist looks trimmer, you’re legs are slimmer and you’ve a kick in your step. Take the positive comments from others as a pat on the back. Remember the feeling, bottle it up in your mind and save it for later to undo when the fridge comes calling.

Whilst you’re at it, remember to treat yourself when you do well. If you hit that target have a day out or treat yourself to a stay at a fancy spa. Teach yourself to link feeling good with eating well and exercise. Click here for some ideas.

    Be a forward thinker

Imagine the future…You’re mental strength is key to maintaining a long term diet where a large total weight loss is needed.  You build up this strength over the course of the diet, it doesn’t come at the start or in the middle. You’ll only realise it’s there when you’ve met you’re final goal, and then it’ll shock your conscious mind  in to recognising  that you never knew you had it in you and that you underestimated yourself for a long time.
